Broadband
Wireless PC Cards for
Macintosh Powerbook
If you have a Macintosh Powerbook with a PCMCIA slot (15" and 17" but
not 12") and want to meet experts who can sell you a card that will
give broadband speeds, this is the place to go. The advantage of such a
card is the same as having a cellular phone for communication plus
broadband speeds. You don't have to try to locate a Wi-Fi location. You
also can get a booster antenna that plugs into the card for fringe
reception areas. This company demonstrated superior knowledge and gave
great service when an order was placed for a Verizon 5220 for a
Macintosh Powerbook 15". Here is a comment from the company and they
delivered on the promise: "Yes, we are an authorized Verizon Agent that
can sell all Verizon broadband access cards. More importantly, we are
Mac experts especially when it comes to Mac EVDO. We have set up a page
that may answer many of your questions.
http://EVDOinfo.com/Tips/PC_5220/Mac_EVDO_20050712475
Currently, the PC5220 is the ONLY EVDO card that is fully supported in
Mac. Starting with Mac OS X 10.3.5-10.4.2, Apple built support for the
PC5220 directly in the OS. Nothing to install, it is already there.
Once you stick in the PC5220 card, a signal indicator automatically
appears in your menu bar - none of the other cards provide that kind of
support or integration with the Mac desktop."

Check it out! MSNBC does 24 hour news and puts highlights in large bold

Tom Brokaw interviewed President Clinton at 8:00 p.m. eastern live from
the White House. One could go on-line during the interview or take part
in the after-show discussion with White House Communications Director

On-line
Books Page
A fascinating site that allows you to search for the full text of books
on-line. From this page you can go to " Search by author or by title "
page and find other options. I chose the "Author Search" and went to
that page and typed in: " Crane, Stephen " and pressed return and the
text of The Red Badge Of Courage was available by chapters in addition
to four other Crane books. Other examples found from this site are
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, Common Sense by
Thomas Paine, and Jungle Tales of Tarzan by Edgar Rice Burroughs. This
site also links to many other book sites. Those who love books and the
magic in them will find it difficult to resist the Web when they are
shown this capability.

"His works have been recognized in juried art competitions, featured on
the covers of photography and medical publications and seen in shows in
New Orleans and Lafayette. His photographs grace the walls of numerous
homes and offices, as well as hospitals and are often purchased for
their serenity as well as their unique beauty.
One of Palmisano's goals in his art is
''to
capture the fleeting beauty of flowers for all to enjoy in a moment of
solitude.The aging clock possible
stops for each moment we delight in the
flower's beauty. Certainly stress, the
